Control Systems - Pneumatic and Electro-Pneumatic

With the growing complexity of modern pneumatic systems and the need to attain a high reliability and integrity, Davis Pneumatic Systems have developed the concept of integrating the components of systems into modular form to reduce the number of interconnections. The various options are described below and typical examples are shown:

The simplest form is a metal block using gallery drilling to form the circuit with sub-based components mounted on top of block.

For more sophisticated systems a technology using substrates, with a sandwich construction, in which the interconnect pattern is embedded can be used. The substrates may be metal or acrylic or a combination of the two. Sub-based components are mounted on top of block to form the circuit. Input/output connections can be made in the base or edge of block.

Conventional systems can also be produced with components being piped together using flexible or metal pipe and housed in a cabinet or mounted on back plate.
